Trevor Jackson - The Greenpoint Demos

Trevor Jackson is the weirdest person you will ever meet. Years ago, LBurt & I were TJ's only fans when they debuted a song at Club Passim called "Little Jackrabbit With A Carrot In Its Mouth." We begged for him to play the song again but Trevor...or Jackson...is a jerk so he didn't. We referenced the song often and our friends thought we were making it up. I almost started to agree with them. A while later, Trevor Jackson released their first album. We weren't really surprised when Little Jackrabbit didn't make the cut. I just assumed I'd never hear the song again. Boots told us he found some old TJ demos and would be releasing them on iTunes. I had no idea what to expect but I wasn't getting my hopes up. I almost choked on my chobani when I saw the track listing. LITTLE JACKRABBIT is back from the dead. It's exactly how I remember it. Weird...and about a jackrabbit with a carrot in its mouth. The rest of the EP is pretty normal....or so I thought. Earth Move is a GREAT song. I wore out kyle's video of it a while back and was so glad to have a recorded version of it.

This brings us to "Tail of the Drunken Cat and Jamaican Escort" I have no words. You just have to hear it. It's creepy. It's awesome. It's also super obnoxious once the drunken cat starts talking.
