I wanted to post this before the CMT Awards because I'm pretty sure he's performing on them, but I didn't get a chance. I was on a little road trip with my friend Cat from Nashville last weekend and she told me I had to hear this kid. All she had to say was "He's like the Bieber of country music" and my ears were wide open. He's 19 and blonde and adorable. Hunter plays all of his own instruments & he's got the kind of talent that you don't always find in country music. His single "Storm Warning" is so damn catchy. I haven't been able to get it out of my head since I heard it. This summer he's opening up a bunch of the Taylor Swift shows (unfortunately not the one I'm going to). I am convinced he's going to blow up and be the next big thing on the pop/country scene. I'm having a hard time finding out when his album is being released but he's got a few tracks up on his website. Storm Warning - Hunter Hayes
